Due to growth our client is looking to recruit a Project Manager for their team in Edinburgh. You will be part of a large global organisation but working in one of their smallest offices in Edinburgh. You will work on cutting edge technology and be responsible for a number of new product developments and need to be highly-capable and driven project management professional.
To be considered, you will need the following experience/skills:
Previous commercial experience in a development engineering capacity, associated with the new product introduction (NPI), including experience leading projects within a cross functional team environment
Knowledge and experience with product software and/or firmware development for new product design. (Desirable skills include microprocessor-based design, embedded, digital design, algorithm development).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project
Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
Experience of working in a global environment, shared services (matrix) environment would be advantageous.
Project Management methodology / certification (Prince, PMP, stage-gate, Six Sigma etc)
