Ecorys has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Digital based in Birmingham. This is a permanent and full-time position but part-time hours will be considered.

About the role

'Digital'# Ecorys is critical to the success of our business as it transcends across the full range of our service offer. Based on specific client needs, we develop fully tailored digital solutions. These can be delivered as stand-alone services or integrated into wider service packages. Our digital offer includes:

• web development and online communities
• social media management
• creative, digital and traditional design
• data capture/ management systems
• data reporting and business intelligence systems

The post holder will lead the digital team, develop bids for and win new digital work ensuring the successful delivery of contracts. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and expertise in developing digital solutions, a proven track record of business development and delivering successful bids.

In addition, you must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate teams and drive innovation. You will work closely and proactively with other teams across the company to promote solutions and ensure 'digital' is integrated into our overall service offering and delivery.

The ideal person

As the ideal candidate for this role, you have excellent all-round digital expertise championing innovative digital approaches. You have experience of developing and successfully implementing business development strategies particularly in the UK market. You are in your element when discussing with clients to understand their needs, offering and presenting solutions. You are a strong leader and will have managed large teams. You are comfortable with negotiating and influencing at senior level.
