An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Smoke Free Technical Officer to join a public organisation in East London. The role will be to enforce the Smoke Free legislation and to promote the cessation of use Tobacco products. To carry out surveys and studies on the use and sale of Tobacco products. The main duties of employment will be:
- To ensure compliance with current legislation making decisions on applications or dealing with issues as they arise
- To serve fixed penalty notices, prepare prosecutions, give advice and undertake presentations on issues relating to smoke free cessation
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Health Act 2006. Experience with Smoke Free Legislation will be beneficial.
