Calling all experienced Sales Consultants/ Business Developers with experience in the Construction / Window / Trade Industries. cGBP30k basic salary with a commission package attached.
My Client based on the edge of Gloucester (very easy access off the M5 junction 12) are looking to take on a new Sales Person. The individual must reside within a 45 minute commute to Junction 11 / 12/ 13 of the M5 and have access to their own transportation as this role will be both office based and on the road. A car allowance will be offered to the successful applicant after passing their 3 month probation period.
Candidates must have previous experience of selling face to face, territory mapping and possessing the ability to open and close doors, both over the phone and in person.
You must have a technical mind-set and understand about the property Industry as this Clients Customers' will expect you to be able to answer technical questions and understand their responses and advise them accordingly!
The world is your oyster for this role as you can concentrate locally within the Gloucestershire / Worcestershire / South Bristol / Cotswolds region or should you prefer you can concentrate nationally.., the choice is yours.
You will attend and exhibit at 3 large trade exhibitions throughout the year (this will require staying away for 3 / 4 nights at each of the 3 shows) - again just another reason why you must have the technical knowledge as you really will be at the cutting edge of clients' questions???
This role will not suit someone who is looking to join a large corporate company, as this Client has a smaller family feel to it (these nowhere to hide if you aren't achieving!), you will be solely responsible for bringing in the sales revenue alongside the MD, so you really can play a big part in this small company and it really does have a lovely vibe to it where employees are made to feel valued.
You must be a driven tenacious individual who really wants to achieve and be part of this small company and help it achieve, the owners are looking and wanting to expand in the future and thus for this first sales person you really are joining them at a really exciting time.
Please ensure your CV clearly demonstrates your industry experience. Candidates must be physically fit and able with a certain amount of strength due to the products being heavy that you sell, thus you will have to be able to lift them as you will have to take the products with you to demonstrate them to Customers???
Office hours are Monday - Friday 40 hours a week - occasional weekend or evening appointments may be required on occasion due to Clients requirements.
