Content Coordinator
Based: Havant
Reports to: Head of Content

Our client is a rapidly expanding company looking for talented people who adopt an enthusiastic and determined approach to ‘getting the job done’. They’ve grown a diverse client base in the photo/gift retail market ranging from individual store owners, through high street chains to massive global corporations.
Initially, you will join nearly 80 other staff members based in freshly renovated offices located in a conservation area of Havant. The site has breakout areas, a games room, free on-site employee parking, a sizable garden, fitness suite, a plethora of musical instruments, modern kitchens, copious nerf guns and is only a 15 min walk to the sea.

Main purpose and scope of the job
The successful applicant will coordinate content for global brand names such as Walmart and ASDA.
You’ll be in daily contact with clients helping customers create and order beautiful photo gifts, preserving treasured memories.
You’ll be working as part of a team responsible for organising the addition of new items; helping integrate fulfillers with their systems and updating the current products with fresh new designs.
Their sites are flexible and responsive allowing them to cater for a wide range of devices and client demands so you’ll get to use your CMS, HTML and CSS skills keeping them looking great.

Duties and key responsibilities

  • Working closely with colleagues to coordinate and deliver content on time and to the highest standard.
  • Liaising with clients for feedback on content or to request further information.
  • Updating and configuring web pages to meet client specifications.
  • Using in house developed tools and scripts to ingest externally provided designs to a prescribed specification.

Person specification

  • Skills and abilities
  • Creation of vector graphics, SVG file format and Inkscape a bonus.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Image composition and editing.
  • Working with precise measurements and physical products.
  • Good written English skills (grammar & choice of language).

Experience

  • Worked in a client facing role with a variety of customers.
  • Interpreting a client brief for new content and delivering in a timely manner whilst maintaining high professional standards.
  • Developing responsive websites.
  • UI/UX, Linux command line, scripting or Git versioning not essential but a bonus.

Knowledge

  • Strong HTML/CSS/Bootstrap knowledge.
  • Image editing techniques.

  • Solution focused: proactively tackling projects and tasks in an efficient and positive manner.
  • Organising and prioritising a multitude of tasks.

  • Enjoys keeping up to date with the latest technology, and working as part of a cutting edge team.

  • An annual salary of £20,000-£26,000 (depending on ability) for the equivalent of a 40-hour week
