Field Based/Working From Home
Salary - Up to GBP45,000 basic + GBP45,000 OTE (Uncapped) + Car Allowance
Our client, a market leader in Unified Communications Solutions, is currently seeking a Channel New Logo Hunter to join their established sales team. The principal function of the role is to penetrate relationships with third-party channel partners, including alliance partners and resellers.
The ideal candidate will have extensive proven experience securing new business Channel sales in the IT/Technology sector. Furthermore, they will be a confident professional with the ability to manage their own workload effectively.
Essential functions of the role include:
• Prioritising qualified sales opportunities with key prospects
• Executing sales cycles to penetrate the most promising relationships
• Identifying and building relationships with appropriate account buyers
• Establishing a respected reputation with assigned prospects
• Identifying the needs of prospects and recommending best fit solutions with a clear value proposition
• Developing and maintaining up to date expert understanding of the company's solutions with an understanding of relevant competitor solutions
• Transitioning new channel relationships to a Channel Account Manager after the first 12 months
• Proactively managing sales pipelines
• Identifying and coordinating timely involvement of sales operations/engineers in the sales cycle
• Achieving assigned bookings quota
Skills and experience required:
• 3+ years experience in a Channel sales role in the Technology/IT sector
• Degree level qualified, ideally in a business or technical/analytical field
• Experience prospecting and closing net new deals
• Proven experience of working successfully with minimal supervision
• Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory on short notice, as needed
