Sales Order & Data Input Administrator
Full-time, permanent
Hertford SG13
Basic salary £18k to £22k dependent on experience

Our client has an excellent opportunity for an administrator to join their fast-paced and busy Sales team.

The role involves:

  • Receiving customer orders in various formats from sales team
  • Checking, preparing and processing detailed customer orders and customer specific packaging requirements
  • Maintain database of product details
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Input data into customer web-based systems
  • Entering deliveries in Microsoft NAV, raising delivery notes & invoicing
  • Dealing with queries and samples
  • Managing orders using EDI

Full training will be given but to be considered you must:

  • Possess good IT skills – Outlook & knowledge of Excel are essential
  • High level numeracy skills for entering, checking, analysing data and solving problems
  • Previous sales order processing experience
  • Organised and able to multi-task & manage multiple email chains proficiently
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Good analytical skills
  • A keen eye for detail and be able to maintain accuracy in all documents whilst working under pressure, to specific time frames
  • Experience within a sales/product environment would be an advantage.
