Paid Social and Display Executive
Central Employment are delighted to recruiting for a Paid Social & Display Executive on behalf of a leading eCommerce business based in County Durham.
Reporting into the Head of eCommerce and Acquisition Manager, this is ideal opportunity for an ambitious Paid Social, PPC or Display Executive to enhance their digital marketing career.
Main Responsibilities:
The Paid Social & Display Executive will be expected to undertake the following:
- Staying up to date with all the developments in social media/display advertising
- To develop and build strong relationships with the major platforms (Facebook, Twitter etc.)
- Plan and organise all seasonal launch, promotional and weekly campaigns
- Managing the large budget over multiple countries and media owners
- Build, set up and deliver campaigns for Facebook, Twitter and any new platforms
- Optimisation and budget management on spend and campaign performance metrics
- Delivering post-campaign analysis using both the media reports and the analytics solutions
- Testing new formats and new ways of buying media - pushing forward the paid social or display buying strategy delivering continuous improvement
- Understand social media buying and display opportunities over international borders
- Understand the mix of paid, earned, owned media and inform when and where it is appropriate to promote content through each channel
- To develop an internal strategy for display advertising
- Establishing a list of important media owners and maintain relationships to ensure that we always get the best rates
- Raising POs and handling invoices to ensure payments are made in a timely manner
Paid Social & Display Executive traits:
- Analytical and numerate
- Ability to create long term plans and a head for innovation
- Good working knowledge of CRM principles and activity
- You embrace the ever changing social media and display environment
- Passion for social and the display landscape
- An eye for detail and meticulous by nature
- Ability to compile and write reports that demonstrate strong writing skills and the ability - to communicate clear, concise insights and recommendations
- Be able to fully comprehend and work within business constraints and strategies
- Adept at presenting data graphically for a non-technical audience
- Ability to focus on key conversion issues that have a material effect on performance
Paid Social & Display Executive key experience:
- Educated to degree level
- Strong planning skills
- Understanding of paid social and display channels and platforms
- Strong Excel skills - Ability to merge data from a multiple sources and formats into data acceptable for analysis
- High attention to detail and quality of work
- High energy - looking to learn and help make improvements and drive change
- Ability to work under tight timelines and quick turnaround
Preferable:
- Experience in display advertising/Paid Search
- Knowledge of programmatic/RTB display buying
- Experience gained from a digital agency or eCommerce/Retail
