As our e-Learning Designer you will work with the e-Learning Consultant to design creative online learning solutions of exceptional quality and to build them with the use of rapid development tools. Learning solutions will be of exceptional quality and will enhance learning transfer and retention for the audiences they reach across multiple business areas.
You will also support the development and administration of our Learning Management System and provide an exceptional level of service to our internal customers and stakeholder.
Responsibilities as our e-Learning Designer include:
- Responsible for dreaming up creative online solutions to learning needs, with a focus on interactive and visually engaging content
- Identifies learning needs, writes storyboards, produces high quality e-learning content and evaluates the success of the design and deployment of learning
- Designs and builds online learning content that engages the learner and is aligned to our Vitality brand and tone of voice
- Works in collaboration with internal stakeholders/business areas to design online learning that delivers the business and learning outcomes required
- Deploys internally created and externally sourced e-learning modules and tracks and monitors take up and completion rates updating stakeholders along the way
- Manages the uploading of “off the shelf? eLearning content
- Designs and delivers electronic tests assessing knowledge and understanding of learners
- Tracks completion of e-learning and electronic assessments and proactively updates stakeholders
- Works alongside the L&D Coordinator to service support requests and queries from the business
- Supports the on-going development of the Academy as it becomes a haven for self-service personal development.
- Ensures all users have a learning profile
- Provides cover for L&D Coordinator in ensuring that L&D processes such as training invitations and evaluation are automated
Skills and Experience required of our e-Learning Designer:
Essential
- Fluent in the use of Articulate Storyline and associated concepts, such as storyboarding
- Knowledge of a range of creative software that support e-learning creation, such as PhotoShop
- Must have minimum of C grade in GCSE English/English Language and evidence of strong IT skills
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, changing environment, taking ownership and working on - own initiative, and managing multiple priorities to tight deadlines
- Keen interest in technology and proven ability of picking up new technology quickly
Desirable
- Knowledge of LMS technologies such as SCORM, HTML, Javascript
