The company currently offers specialist preclinical contract research services to Pharmaceutical companies focused on Immuno-Oncology, Immunology and Regeneration as well as specialised Histology.
Job Summary:
The main role will be to provide business/financial administration support. This will include accounting duties, placing and tracking orders, processing invoices, team purchasing and maintenance of company spreadsheets. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with the scientific and management team as required. The tasks of the role are not exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake other relevant administrative duties as requested by management. Administrative/Financial responsibilities are likely to develop as the role progresses.
Key Tasks:
- Sales Ledger, Credit Control, raising invoices and chasing outstanding invoices
- Ordering of company consumables, maintenance of the purchase ledger
- Payment to Suppliers
- Bank Reconciliations
- Maintenance of company spreadsheets
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrable high attention to detail
- Life science knowledge
- Recognised bookkeeping qualification
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Excellent administration skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
