Engagement and Volunteer Co-ordinator
Salary - GBP22,361 per annum
Location - Stafford and Shrewsbury
Contract Type - 12 months
Weekly Hours - 37
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engagement and Volunteer Co-ordinator to work across Staffordshire and Shrewsbury.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will co-ordinate volunteering ensuring adherence to robust policies and procedures in the recruitment and co-ordination of volunteers.
You will work with our retirement living colleagues to identify activities to improve resident involvement opportunities which enrich the lives of residents within our Retirement living communities including developing resident constituted committees.
Following identification of need within the Retirement living communities you will identify and bid on any appropriate local funding to support that activity
Requirements:
Experience of working in a community related capacity in either a voluntary or paid role
Experience of recruiting and co-ordinating volunteers
A commitment to and understanding of customer care
The ability to demonstrate discretion and confidentiality at all times
