Support Worker

Ammanford

Full time and part time hours available

Up to £10ph + Holiday pay and Pension


Here at BS Social Care we have spaces in an ongoing contract with a leading care provider in Ammanford. We are looking for experienced support workers to work in a supported living environment with adults with learning disabilities.

Your role will be to help out an excellent team of staff while supporting and caring for the service users. This will involve taking them out into the community, helping them with every day activities such as cooking and cleaning and encouraging them to live independently. This role may involve some manual handling and personal care.

Hours are available from Monday - Sunday. You can have flexible hours to fit around your other commitments such as another job or education. The role may call for a range of shifts from days/nights/sleep ins. Full time contracted hours available.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of one years practical experience within the care sector. Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential. They will also have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
