Mechanical Design Engineer
Birmingham
Up to GBP40,000 per annum plus Benefits
Direct Appointments is currently working with an award-winning Building Services Design Consultancy to expand their highly successful team.
With a full project load on the horizon the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be working on high profile projects including schools, hospitals and commercial buildings.
Candidate Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients throughout the project - explaining all elements of the design process.
* The design of Mechanical building services from initial consultation through to building sign off and snagging.
* Working alongside other industry professionals to ensure projects are finished on time and within budget.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
* Experience designing a full range of building services on live UK projects (Essential)
* Excellent working knowledge of industry standard software such as Revit, Amtech and Hevacomp (Essential)
* Membership of IMechE or CIBSE and ideally on the path to Chartership (Preferred)
