An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Scheme Manager to join us to manage a Housing and Care scheme, ensuring that all customers receive a high quality, intensive housing management service; in a safe and secure environment.
Providing advice and assistance to customers, encouraging independence and choice, you will be responsible for tenancy management, tenancy sustainment, income management, welfare benefits and local budgets. You will make sure repairs are completed in accordance with policy and procedures, having responsibility for caretakers / cleaners and other contractors visiting the scheme, ensuring the health and safety of residents, staff and visitors.
Developing working relationships with other agencies involved in the care of the customers, you will deliver against the Service Level Agreement with the Care provider, whilst promoting and safeguarding the welfare of customers of the scheme.
With experience of working to KPIs, you will have the ability to meet the differing needs and priorities of a range of customers and Clients, whilst having a positive attitude and can-do approach. Leading tactfully with demanding situations, you will ideally have experience of extra care housing management, working within the public and private sectors. Above all, you will have sound knowledge of tenancy management services, supporting tenancies and safeguarding vulnerable adults with a good understanding of housing management processes and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will deliver excellent customer service for customers, adult social care and local authorities, taking individual responsibility for doing the right thing at the right time, every time.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates should be willing to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and will have a clean full driving licence.
