Location: UK Home based, happy to travel throughout Europe.
2 trips per month, 2~3 days per trip
Must be located in the south east close to major airports
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + OTE
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a strategically focussed account manager.
- Build and maintain relationships with our major customers.
- Working closely with our distributor, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the commercial and technical interactions with our major distribution customers.
- Create and implement a sales strategy focusing on a small number of key customers.
- Organise and attend face to face meetings with these customers and with our distributor in the territory.
- Interacting with your customers’ engineering teams to recommend the best solutions to meet their project criteria.
- Motivated, proactive and able to work independently, a ‘self-starter’.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and management at all levels.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A natural relationship builder, with an ability to sell.
- Demonstrable successful sales experience
- Experience of building and implementing a sales strategy
- Distributor relationship management experience
- Experience of engaging with technical, engineering decision makers
- Electronics industry experience would be advantageous, but not essential
- Able to motivate, lead and manage
