This ambitious business delivers training solutions and workforce consultancy to learners and employers throughout the East Midlands. They are graded Good by OFSTED across all areas of the business and hold Quality 9001 accreditation, Matrix and IIP Silver. Their 'PRAISE' values (pride, respect, accountability, integrity and service excellence) drive all delivery services both to their employers and learners, and to their own employees, always embedding professionalism within a culture of continuous improvement.
They have two exciting opportunities for a Warehouse Tutor based at their Nottingham and Derby training centres. These roles are full time, with some travel within the East Midlands, a driving licence and access to a car is therefore essential.
The Role
To plan, prepare and teach learners Employability and Warehouse whilst coaching and developing them through a suitable learning programme. You will be working with learners distanced from employment, teaching through a mixture of group learning, one-to-one sessions and via e-learning platforms in subjects such as Level 1 Certificate in Warehousing & Storage and Level 1 Award in Personal Development for Employability. You will be effectively managing and progressing learners with varying levels of ability, to progress onto apprenticeships and ultimately employment.
The Individual
We value your industry knowledge, competence and experience, so although holding a relevant teaching qualification would be great, full training and support will be provided if you have a real passion for sharing your knowledge.
You will be an effective communicator, able to provide the highest standards of customer service to successfully engage learners. You will be able to manage your time effectively as well as conflicting priorities. You will have the ability to coach, develop and mentor people with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly. Experience of delivering training, managing classrooms and assessing learners would be a distinct advantage.
The Company
They currently have six fixed delivery centres and hundreds of work-based learners throughout the Midlands with the next phase of their growth already under implementation.
This company currently has turnover of £5m with plans for significant short-term growth and is committed to encouraging equality and diversity and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
In return they offer excellent terms and conditions:
- 36 days holiday (inc. bank holidays)
- Contributory pension scheme
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Life assurance
They are committed to safeguarding and to promoting the welfare of their learners.
Should your application be successful; an enhanced disclosure will be requested from the Disclosure and Barring Service and any contractual offer will be subject to rigorous vetting procedures.
They process your personal data in line with their Data Protection Policy which is aligned to the General Data Protection Regulations (2018).
