Bank Night Support Worker -Eastbourne
YMCA DOWNSLINK GROUP
Bank Night Support Worker
£9 per hour
We are recruiting a number of Bank Support Workers to cover waking night shifts at YMCA Eastbourne.
You will work alongside our wider housing team, to support with the day-to-day operation of our residential accommodation project for young people aged sixteen to twenty-five. An understanding of the needs of young single homeless people is desirable.
In particular you will work to keep the projects quiet, safe and secure throughout the night.
We require someone competent and confident when working alone, and able to de-escalate volatile situations and manage challenging behaviour appropriately.
Hours are on a mutually agreed basis and there is no obligation on either party to offer or accept work. You will however be expected to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
The majority of shifts required are waking nights, but there may be some day shifts available.
