This family owned food group is looking for someone to maintain current business and develop new business within the retail sector. Specifically to increase volume, profit and market share within the retail sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To maintain, develop and analyse existing and new business within the Retail Multiples in both Brand and Own Label.
* Build relationships in all areas at Head Office level and Regional level.
* Liaise with NPD and Production to develop new product suitable for the retailers.
* Increase volume and profit through by new listings and promotional activity.
* Produce and present three-month budgets and rolling forecasts for key accounts
* Keep regular contact at store level with relevant in store managers.
* Research gaps in the market place through gap analysis.
* Observe marketing, advertising of competitors.
* Monitor market for competitors pricing and promotional activity.
* Liaise with key personnel to develop stronger working relationships and knowledge of the company to gain a greater understanding of the production capabilities and in turn strengthen the working relationship between customer and supplier.
This job would operate from Scotland but require travel. We are looking for candidates well versed in dealing with the major retailers and managing their accounts.
