Senior Avionics Support Engineer - Avionics Service & Repair
A Senior Support Engineer with Avionics is required to work on a permanent role for our Defence client based in Lincolnshire.
Overview of the Avionics Senior Support Engineer role
We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Engineer based out of RAF Coningsby.
The successful candidates will be working in the Avionics Regional Centre, whose primary objective is to Service and repair LRI aircraft components to customers within Defence organisations.
Key responsibilities required for the Senior Support Engineer
* Carry out Standard Serviceability Testing, Fault finding and LRI repair on RADAR, DASS and Avionics equipment iaw approved data within a MAA Part 145 setting.
* Carry out routine calibration, general maintenance on Automatic Test equipment.
* Daily liaison with the ARC Manager, Bay leads and Maintenance Planner local MoD, RAF and BAE Systems teams as required to understand priorities for repair activities
* Provide integral support to the UK's working contribution to ARC
* KPI's
* Provide support to the management of the UK aspect of the Common Spares Pool(CSP) and consumables, immediately highlighting any deficiencies to ARC Manager, Bay leads and Maintenance Planner.
Key skills required for the Senior Support Engineer
You must have a strong all-round technical ability with an excellent working knowledge of Radar, DASS and Avionics equipment and systems.
The role is based in Lincolnshire.
