Our Client is looking to appoint an HGV Fitter/Mechanic based in Carlisle. This role is working within the existing maintenance team with priority given to the Transport Division.
The Candidate:
Competitive salary package offered with hours of work 0700 – 17.00 Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings.

The Candidate:
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements including complying with Risk Assessments, Permit to works, LOLER, COSHH
- Carrying out Servicing and Repair to the fleet of Skip and RORO trucks
- Inspection and M.O.T preparation to VOSO/DVSA standards
- Record keeping and working to schedules
- Qualifications required
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent 7 years proven work history
- Basic Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge
- Fabrication and Welding experience would be an advantage
- Minimum Class 2 licence
