Permanent - 3 Shift Pattern
I am currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide both mechanical and electrical maintenance support working on a wide range of plant and equipment in a FMCG environment.
Ensuring breakdowns are attended to and resolved quickly to maintain minimal downtime and disruption to the production process, you will be expected to: -
* Carry out routine inspection on various plant and equipment, carrying out repair work during normal production activity whilst providing engineering solutions to assist and maximise operational capacity
* Undertake fault-finding and problem solving work on a wide range of equipment including PLC and drive control to ensure minimum downtime implementing route cause analysis.
* Log breakdowns and issues accurately and effectively using software systems provided
* Work with the team to oversee the installation of new and existing plant
You will be qualified to at least HNC level with a completed recognised electrical apprenticeship, ideally with experience of working within a FMCG environment.
You will have an excellent understanding of electro-mechanical & pneumatic devices i.e. pump, valves, motors, cylinders, sensors, hydraulic systems etc. and have working experience with PLCs - preferably Siemens S5 and S7 - and drive controls along with an understanding of robotics.
