Brook Street are recruiting for an experienced administrator (minimum 10 years) to work for our client based in Rugby on a temp to perm basis, to assist in the following duties;
MAIN FUNCTIONS -
" To control the administrative function within the company. The main tasks include:
" Answer the company telephone system and respond appropriately.
" Maintain visitor records, related Health and Safety notices and materials.
" Maintain the reception area in good order.
" Maintain a company diary.
" The provision of data entry support to the accounts department up to P&L level.
" Assist in the provision of a variety of financial data to the company directors.
" Assistance in maintaining company accounting records.
" Assist in the maintaining of office stationery stocks.
" Assist in the preparation of staff wages.
" Assist in the placing of purchase orders.
" Assist in the maintenance of staff HR folders, contents, holiday records
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS -
" To assist management in the analysis of job costings.
" To carry out any reasonable request made by management for the good of the company.
" To work overtime as may be required by management.
PREFERABLE PERSONAL COMPETENCIES -
" Experience of working in a manufacturing accounts environment.
" Experience of working with Sage 50 accounting software to P&L level.
" Experience of working to ISO9001 and/or AS9100 or similar.
" The ability to work with the minimum of supervision, and yet to appreciate when to seek assistance or support.
" The ability to comply with Health and Safety legislation.
" The successful candidate will be able to manage his/her own time in an effective way.
" The successful candidate will be reliable and comfortable within a technical team environment.
Working hours are Monday to Friday (flexible full time office hours) and pay rate will be £10 per hour. Due to the location applicants must have own transport.
