GENERAL MANAGER - NEAR FARNHAM, SURREY - UP TO 50K + BONUS - LARGE-SCALE LUXURY COUNTRY INN- AMAZING OPPORTUNITY
I'm extremely excited to be working on this rare general manager position for a well-known premium dining group, as they took to take on an experienced general manager for one of their most prized sites near Farnham, Surrey.
The ideal candidate will have experience in busy country inns, come from a fine-dining/luxury background but also have some understanding/experience of running a country inn style property.
This country inn offers premium dining, an enviable wine list and a fantastic selection of cocktails, to complement its seasonally changing menu. The site offers an attractive spacious bar and restaurant, a large-scale garden with play area and eighteen stylish rooms.
Due to its premium offering the site regularly hosts a variety of quality events including cocktail masterclasses and business networking events, as well as the ability to host private dining functions.
All produce is locally sourced where possible, and the menus are developed under the guidance of the group head chef, who is well known for his craft. In terms of beverage, the wine list regularly changes, and boasts an enviable selection of day to day tipples, alongside an extensive vintage range.
As the general manager of this pub you'll have tonnes of personality, lead from the front, be able to manage a team of 30, and a weekly revenue of circa 45K and have an excellent knowledge of fresh food and wine, alongside some experience managing rooms. You'll be serviced focused, astutely business aware, a skilled influence, a true role model for the company and be a creative inspirational leader.
You'll be comfortable being the face of a large operation, and always lead from the front, this position wouldn't suit a general manager who prefers spending time in the office.
Please note, due to the scale of this site, this would not suit a first time appointment.
In exchange for your efforts, you'll be paid a salary of up to GBP50K and be eligible for an excellent bonus scheme, alongside a host of excellent benefits.
