Senior PPC Manager

A leading entrepreneurial travel business are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking individual from the travel industry who is confident in their ability to hit the ground running. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an agile, motivated individual to add immense value to the company's current PPC activity. Working alongside the wider marketing team the Senior PPC Manager will have the opportunity to influence the entire PPC journey on site, from click through to conversion. Your focus will be on driving acquisition, generating enquiries and increasing call volumes.

We have ambitious growth plans and this role is vital for successfully driving these plans.

The role

- Design, launch and manage PPC campaigns across various platforms, including but not limited to; Google Adwords, GDN, Bing, Facebook

- Drive profitable growth, market share and brand awareness by delivering successful paid search campaigns

- Report, analyse and interpret data to understand performance, what is impacting performance and what we can do to influence it

- Work closely with the search developer to advance campaigns and drive search automation initiatives across all key markets and products

- Work with the content team to ensure landing pages are effectively optimised for PPC success

- Identify patterns in customer behaviour and segments and communicate these insights so appropriate action can be taken

- Reconciliation of budget spend, analyse click and conversion data and ad expenses

- Managing, testing and optimising keywords, ad text, position and landing pages based on performance of campaigns

- Ensure PPC activity is aligned with the overall marketing and sales strategy

- Compile accurate, transparent and insightful reports in Excel and other reporting software on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

- Continuously evaluate performance and optimise campaigns to reach maximum ROI

- Keeping up to date with industry knowledge, development, tactics and strategies

Essential Skills & Experience

- Demonstratable experience of managing successful paid search and paid social campaigns

- Experience or knowledge of lead generation websites

- Extensive hands on bid campaign management experience and strong knowledge of best practice techniques

- At least 3 years PPC experience

- Experience in campaign execution from end to end

- Ability to build and monitor campaigns on a variety of PPC platforms

- Experience of campaign planning, search optimisation and web performance monitoring softwaren

- Familiar with Bid optimisation tools

- Knowledge of the digital marketing industry and in particular the search engine marketing industry

- Analytical and results driven

- Strong understanding of AdWords and Google Analytics

- Excellent verbal and written communications

- Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task

- Experience with call tracking

- Experience managing medium to large budgets

- Google certifications

Desirable Skills

- Experience within the Travel or Leisure industry

- Website A/B split testing

- CRO focussed approach
