m currently working with a busy, family focused Architectural Consultancy based in North Leeds who are looking to recruit an Intermediate Architectural Technician or Part 2 Architectural Assistant or Architect, for a very diverse workload of residential projects at a variety of different stages. Ideally my client needs someone with a proven track record of delivering UK residential projects (construction values between GBP2 - 30m) both low and medium rise, especially at the post planning / technical & construction stages. He is looking for candidates who are good at working drawings (housing projects) and will consider candidates on a permanent or temp/contract basis

My Client offers a full range of services from inception to completion. Whether it's a hand drawn sketch or a full BIM integrated model they seek to guide their clients through every development stage, covering projects throughout the United Kingdom.

They cover every aspect of the Residential sector including Affordable Housing, Social Housing and Extra Care

Experience: Architectural postgraduate degree qualified ideally with some UK residential project experience (preferably traditional low rise housing developments between 10-300 dwellings).
A track record of delivering UK residential projects (construction values between GBP2 - 30m) especially at the post planning / technical & construction stages.
Masterplanning experience would be useful not essential
Affordable Housing, Social Housing and Extra Care experience would be useful but not essential. Similarly, Education sector experience would be a bonus but not essential.

Skills: Good project management - RIBA Stage 3-6 experience (in particular technical construction knowledge), good presentation skills, ability to work as both an individual and within a small team, flexible, hand drawing skills an advantage

You should also have good client / contractor liaison skills and ability to manage / oversee work by others.

IT skills: AutoCad (essential), Revit (preferable), Photoshop, Sketchup, MS Office

Clean driving licence and use of car desirable
