Health Advisor

Provide technical support to delivery of critical care. Provides high level support within teams, conducts medical education relevant to specialism and provide leadership and supervision of staff. Assessing training needs of staff and arranging/conducting in day to day management of the home.
Assisting in care planning of the residents. Continuously assess and monitor the dependency of the residents to determine the provision of adequate staffing levels. Carrying out audits and surveys and assisting with quality assurance.To ensure that the rights of the service user are upheld and promoted at all times, assuring principles of choice, respect, dignity and privacy. To plan work schedules, and delegate responsibilities of staff. Management of Clients; Deliver Hands on Care; Liaising with all necessary parties involved with the delivery of care i.e. Social Services, district nurses, GP, families, etc.To give care to each Resident which will contribute to a homely, happy and comfortable environment in accordance with individual Care Plans. To provide health care in accordance with current best practice, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, relevant regulations under the direction of Manager. To ensure that discipline and correct working practices are maintained in the absence of
the Manager or Deputy Manager.
