Casework Coordinator - Criminal Justice
Hours: Full Time
Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2019 (Potential for extension dependent on funding)
Location: Exeter base with travel throughout Devon & Cornwall
Salary: GBP22,500 Pro Rata
Closing Date: 20th August 2018 (Noon)
Our client has a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to be involved in the set up and delivery of an exciting new service working with former prisoners in supported accommodation dispersed across Devon & Cornwall.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience of working with prisoners and people with multiple/complex needs.
* Up-to-date working knowledge of housing options, welfare rights and benefits.
* Understanding of causes of offending
* Good working knowledge of MS Office.
* Clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
The successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Establishing supportive relationships with clients and partner agencies/colleagues.
* Assessing, planning and enacting person-centred packages of resettlement support which promote independent and fulfilling lives, free from offending.
