Real Estate Lawyer, 5+ PQE

We are looking to recruit further solicitors into our highly rated team in Newcastle. This role will give the successful candidate a chance to experience a wide range of property matters from acquisitions and disposals, development work and asset management work for investors, to corporate support and real estate finance. The team is extremely busy and the successful candidate will very quickly be able to get stuck in to great quality work with local and national clients. Our clients span the public and private sector, and include household names in the housing, commercial investment and development, banking, education, energy and chemical sectors. The successful candidate will be an experienced and technically proficient real estate lawyer having gained extensive exposure to quality real estate transactions. We're looking for candidates to demonstrate first class technical skills, an ability to offer sound commercial advice and to project manage transactions with minimal supervision putting clients at the heart. Business development is critical for all of our lawyers and candidates will be expected to contribute to the growth of the team through by their strong internal and networking skills, as well attending client events and other marketing activities. As a senior lawyer in the team there is an expectation that their own expertise will be shared with others through mentoring, coaching and supervision.
