C# .Net Web Application Developer

Due to expansion ASP.Net Web developers are required to join their development team  based in St Albans, Hertfordshire.   The majority of your time will be spent on project work, developing and implementing new  features into existing solutions. You will be encouraged to contribute to most aspects of the  project lifecycle. A new and exciting period of development lies ahead where you’ll have  the opportunity to contribute heavily to  future solutions and products.   All developers are also expected to assist our internal support team, where needed, to  identify and resolve any reported application issues.  

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED 

C# .Net   MVC (WebForms a bonus) Solid understanding of web application development  Microsoft SQL Server Visual Studio and TFS 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS 

Unit testing Continuous Delivery Multi-tenant environments and solutions HTML, CSS, jQuery   

Although they have a separate team who specialise in the front end technologies, an understanding of contemporary front end technologies and techniques is advantageous e.g.  responsive design, SASS, Grunt, etc.   You should be able to work effectively as an individual and also as part of a team. You should be eager to learn and be proactive with development tasks. You should have good  communication skills as direct communication with clients may be required. 

SALARY  Salary is dependent on experience and ability to demonstrate your potential. 

HOURS OF WORK  The normal working week is 37.5 hours Monday – Friday 9.00 – 5.30, exclusive of 1 hour lunch  break. 

Your normal place of work will be 5c Parkway, Porters Wood, St Albans, Herts, AL3 6PA or  wherever the Company consider necessary and as may reasonably be required by the  Company

We provide flexible working hours by allowing staff to adjust their start and end times (up to 2 hours either way). We also allow some remote working for established team members, depending on the project and tasks required. 

We provide an out of hours critical systems support service to our clients, and team members with the appropriate skill level may be required to assist the team with delivering this service. Extra remuneration is offered to those employees in addition to their basic salary"
