This company has been a national distributor or plumbing and allied products to the retail sector for 35 years. They are a forward thinking, family-run business which offers outstanding customer service and provides valuable opportunities for their staff.

They employ a stable and committed team in their happy and hardworking office and are looking for an additional two people to join their team in Borehamwood, to stay with them and progress within the business.

Training provider
Full on the job training to be provided and one day a week college attendance for underpinning knowledge. Candidate will work towards a Full Level 3 Customer Service NVQ in Customer Service with Harrow and Uxbridge College.

Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-4
Total of 37 working hours per week

Vacancy Description
As a Customer Service Administrator based in the Sales team, you would learn key operations of the department and your main duties would include;
- Liaising with their large customer base, suppliers, internal staff and key partners
- Processing incoming customer orders via telephone, email and fax
- Contacting existing customers via telephone to inform them about products and promotional offers
- Resolving customer service problems by organising collections and credit notes

- Other duties would include;
- Developing resources and procedures to support consistency of customer service delivery
- Developing and using social media strategies to deliver customer service
- Gathering, analysing and interpreting customer feedback
- Identifying and analysing relevant sales related information to inform the promotion of additional products and/or services to customers
- General office duties as required

Things to consider
After interview, if you are successful you will be offered a 1 day work trial before being offered the apprenticeship position. This is a fast paced environment with lots of incoming calls. You will need to be able to multi-task. They are a friendly team though and reward their staff for good performance. If you do a good job there will be an opportunity to take on more tasks.
