Head Of Warehouse Operations

Are you an experienced warehouse and logistics manager? Are you used to managing large teams? My client is a busy organisation in the heart of Dagenham looking for an experience head of warehouse operations.

My client are a privately owned global company with near to 4,000 employees. The working environment is fast-paced, dynamic and exciting. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

You will be required to work within a large warehouse managing a team of around 30. You will be in charge of looking after all holiday requests, delegating jobs out to the team daily, You will need to be able to use all Microsoft packages and be good at picking up different systems including the in house system (training will be provided) You will be managing the inventory of stock that is coming into and leaving the warehouse. liaising with customers over the phone.

This vacancy would be perfect for somebody that is good with problem solving, has a vision and that is able to implement procedures to make the warehouse run more effectively. You will be holding and getting strongly involved in production meetings also.

This vacancy is not only managing teams within the warehouse you will also need to have strong logistic experience as this is an extremely large sorganisation and you will be in charge of the detailed organisation and implementation of a complex operations.

£40,000 upward depending on experience
