Selwyn is recruiting for a full-time Kitchen Porter to join our busy Catering Department. Operating the plate wash and post wash machines, the Kitchen Porter will also be responsible for keeping their work areas clean and tidy, and maintaining the College’s 5* high hygiene certificate.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £16,513 per annum

The ideal candidate
The successful applicant will be honest, trustworthy and reliable, and must be able to use good organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines. They will be a team player, and have the ability to work in harmony with their colleagues. Previous experience of working in a team and knowledge of the correct use of chemicals (COSHH) in a similar working environment would be an advantage, although not essential.
