A HGV Technician is required to join a fantastic family run dealership group in the heart of Kidderminster. Day to day you will aid in the services of HGV vehicles, monitor the repair process and support the other technicians within the workshop with a professional attitude
This is a great opportunity for a flexible individual who is looking and able to work on an early and late shift rota basis.
What will you be responsible for?
* You will be responsible for routine servicing and repairs, brakes, gearbox and clutch repairs and replacements, electronic and mechanical fault finding, electrics and all other duties associated with the role
* Ensure that work is always completed to the highest standard as you seek to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction and repeat business
* To ensure all work is completed in the set manufacturer time scales and promote first time fix
* You will be able to recognise and report on vehicle and component serviceability with an emphasis on customer and public safety as you minimise costs for the customer
What are we looking for from you?
* Excellent automotive knowledge
* HGV Licence is preferable
* The ability to work well under pressure and in a busy environment
* Strong communication skills and team player
* The ability to work on a shift of early and lates (Early: Monday - Friday 7am - 2:30pm, Lates: 1:30pm - 10pm, every other Saturday 7am - 12pm)
What will you be rewarded with?
Hourly rate ranging from GBP12.50 - GBP13.50 (depending on experience)
