About the role
Due to continued expansion, Sense has a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Specialist Support Worker in Kettering, Northamptonshire. You will be based at our day service, working between 21 and 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9:15 and 16:15.
Our service provides exciting and person centred approach to individuals with learning disabilities and individuals with high medical needs. As a Specialist Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible, including helping with personal care and administering medication through a variety of methods.

About you
Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people's lives.
You will have the ability to complete some physical tasks, such as safe lifting, the clamping of wheelchairs, and engaging with learners on the floor.
A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.
