Our client, a leading Freight Forwarder, is looking for an Operational Clerk who has proven Freight Forwarding experience to join their Import/Export team.
***Candidates must have European Road Freight forwarding knowledge***
This will be a varied role keeping you interested and motivated at all times.
Typical duties will include, but not be limited to -
• Operational duties covering Imports and Exports - quoting, bookings etc.
• Customs papers formalities knowledge
• Liaising with in house departments
• Customer services
• Building customer relationships
• Updating systems
• General administration
The role???
• Is split - 40% Exports and 60% Imports
Candidates need to have -
• European groupage and full load transports knowledge
• An understanding on Non EU papers required for Imports/Exports
• Some knowledge of ADR compatibility
