We are looking to appoint an Electrical & Power Industry Trainer/Assessor to our highly motivated and creative team working within the power industry sector. The successful candidate would be working with and based in one of the college Blue Chip companies, to deliver sector specific training across a range of levels.
The successful candidate will need to develop and maintain relationships with the key stakeholders within the company i.e. Apprenticeship Manager, In-house Trainers and Apprentices.
An Electrical & Power Industry Trainer/Assessor is required to carry out workplace assessments, reviews and set action plans for apprentices, including SMART Targets and deliver on professional qualifications at Levels 2-4 including delivery of Functional Skills (as required). The role will also include Lead IQA duties within the company. The successful candidate will need to work closely with the Quality Lead and Awarding Bodies to ensure quality and that EQA’s sampling visits run smoothly.
Suitable candidates will hold a recognised assessment qualification (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent), a teaching qualification and ideally be confident in all aspects of workplace assessment with relation to the Power Industry
