Following the last five years of sustained growth, we're embarking on an ambitious three year transformation journey which will see us transforming the way we work, and help us to help even more people. At this exciting time, we're looking to recruit an Interim Head of Marketing & Brand (6 months), reporting to our External Affairs Director. The role is based in Leeds at one of our city centre offices. This is a critical role in leading all strategic brand, marketing, advertising and promotional activities for the charity that will help determine the success of the charity's growth plans and this person will lead the charity's Marketing & Brand Team. The aim of the role is to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the department strategy. Our overall charity aim is to develop new services and solutions for people with problem debt; to increase the numbers of people we support with debt solutions and to ensure this activity is fully funded. This role is critical to our charity vision. The opportunity would suit a leader who has extensive knowledge of digital marketing and a proven track record within marketing & brand across a variety of industries/sectors particularly in a commercially minded environment. This person will need to have experience managing stakeholders at a senior level as well as working within a business or organisation that has undergone significant change with the ability to deal with ambiguity, as well as strong team leadership experience. The successful candidate will need to be commercially focussed balancing this together with our social purpose, able to sell ideas and innovative marketing solutions, engage with senior stakeholders with the ability to influence at all levels of the charity as well as externally. You'll need to have a proven track record in strategic thinking around the development of a comprehensive audience strategy and brand, to underpin the work of the marketing function. Experience of working in a regulated service is useful but not essential. This role may require some limited travel around the UK, particularly to London.
