OUR CLIENT COMPANY
Our client is an established and growing Crawley-based company supplying niche storage, partitioning and shelving solutions to commerce and industry. The small team work very well together to offer specific (and often bespoke) solutions to their customers all over the UK.
We will be pleased to provide our clients company name to qualified candidates at the end of the first screening telephone interview.
THE JOB
This role needs somebody good with technology and people. This is mainly an office-based role with lots of customer telephone contact.
* Be part of a sales team developing bespoke & technical customer enquiries
* Manage and qualify inbound enquires - driven off a smart network of websites
* Assist B2B customers to buy the best storage or protection system for their needs.
* Liaise with customers, suppliers and carriers
* Follow up and close potential order streams
THE CANDIDATE
This role would suit somebody who enjoys being in a team that works well together.
Experience:
* Used to working in a B2B environment
* Ability to read Technical Drawings and construction plans
* Experience of CAD drawing / industry design packages would be an advantage - but training can be provided
* Commercial acumen, demonstrated by understanding of margin / mark-up and the wholesale and distribution market.
Personal Attributes:
* Self-motivated and methodical in approach to work
* Capable of working flexibly inside a small team
* Solid educational background and hungry to learn
* Keen to deliver personal contribution to a team target
* You play things with a straight bat. Nobody likes surprises
Knowledge and experience of working with B2B eCommerce Websites would also be an advantage.
LOCATION & HOURS
Our client's modern offices are in Crawley. It's a 40-hour week.
8.30am to 5.00pm.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Base salary is up to GBP25k depending on skills and experience and 23 days holiday.
