BMC are working closely with one of the leading accountancy practices in Sunderland, in their search for an experienced Accounts Senior. This is a good sized firms with a broad and enviable client base, they offer a flexible work environment as well as the very best training and progression.
The Role:
Joining a strong team, you will undertake a broad and varied general practice role, covering most aspects of practice accounting. You will work closely with Partners, Managers and other team members to ensure all accounts are completed to a high standard. The client base is broad and interesting, including sole traders, limited companies as well as legal practices and charitable/not for profit organisations.
As a well-established training firm, study support will be offered if required.
Candidate Requirement;
• Ideally AAT qualified, or part qualified
• Experience working in an Accountancy Practice is essential
• A drive to provide the highest service levels to clients and the ability to work closely with colleagues at various levels of experience
• A knowledge of cloud accounting software would be advantageous
Key Responsibilities;
• Completion of year end statutory accounts and working closely with the business
• Working with a varied portfolio of clients including charities, limited companies and owner managed businesses
• Providing assistance to clients on an advisory basis
• Regular client contact
