Junior Transport Planner, Didcot (Oxfordshire)

Are you a recent graduate or junior transport planner seeking their first role within the consultancy space? We are working with a civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Didcot who have an opening within their highway engineering team. The team is highly motivated and committed to the delivery of successful projects for our clients. If you're seeking a challenging role, within a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy which continues to expand, look no further. If successful, you will be responsible for the following tasks;

• Assist in carrying out site appraisals, feasibility studies and provide pre-application advice
• Assist in preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
• Undertake traffic modelling and junction capacity assessments
• Liaise with clients, project team members and local authorities

We would like you to be;

• Qualified to degree level
• Experienced in the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and Access Appraisals
• An understanding of TRICS, ARCADY and PICADY (Junctions8)
• An understanding of micro-simulation traffic modelling would be an advantage
