An opportunity has become available for a care focused, driven and motivated service manager to oversee the day to day running of a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, complex care needs and behaviours which may challenge in Worcester. You will oversee supported living and floating support services across Malvern, Redditch, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas.

As service manager, you will be employed by one of the UK`s leading provider of care and support services and will actively manage services which enable the individuals in your care to be as independent and able as possible in the community and form meaningful relationships. You will continuously promote an ethos where the people you care for are respected and valued.

The service manager role will require you to effectively manage a multi-disciplinary staff team, deliver care and support in line with CQC and company policies and procedures and achieve quality and compliance. You will provide specific management support, advice and motivation for your staff team. Most importantly, you will create and manage diverse services which have a strong focus on promoting and achieving personal goals for the people you support.

You will be a strong deputy manager or team leader looking for the next step on the career ladder or an established manager who is looking to work for a leading, national care provider.


As well as relevant care experience within the supported living or residential care settings, you will also hold a professional care qualification such as the QCF level 5 in leadership and management, NVQ 4 in health and social care or the RMA. As this role involves overseeing more than one site, you will hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.

In addition to relevant care qualifications and management experience, you will be able to demonstrate a passion for care and support, excellent communication skills and the drive and motivation to inspire others.

This exciting opportunity is offering successful candidates a salary in the region of £24000 to £26000 per annum, continued training and development, internal progression opportunities and other exciting benefits.
