Qualtech Resourcing is proud to be working with a nationwide employer and successful family owned business that produces various products within the textile industry.
The business is developing year on year and with strong growth forecast for the future years, they are currently recruiting personnel in key areas of their purpose built factory in Mirfield.
They are currently looking for Experienced Production Operatives
Job description & conditions
- Working on a production lines.
- Inspecting products off the lines.
- Boxing and shrink wrapping products.
- Must be able to work as part of a team & unsupervised when required.
- Must be able to work safely and understand health and safety requirements.
- Responsible for all inspection / quality of the items you produce.
- Ensure a clean working area.
- Assist on other work when required.
Requirements
- Must be physically fit as some lifting is required as part of your role as well as repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- For health and safety reasons have a good understanding of English.
- Have at least 1 years work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Flexible with shifts and overtime.
- Be able to provide at least one previous production work reference.
- Have a continuous recent work history, any gaps in work history will be questioned.
Hours Of Work:
The successful applicants will be asked to work straight nights 10pm - 6am, when production demands it you may be asked to work overtime which includes generous overtime rates.
Other Info:
The company invest time and training into the right candidates with a very good chance of receiving a contract after the probation period dependent upon performance and reliability.
This position pays minimum wage for under 25's and national living wage for over 25's which increases after 12 weeks to a very competitive salary.
