We're looking for smart, warm and welcoming people to join our Lounge team in Sheffield. Customers are everything to us and we take the service we deliver to them very seriously. It's our job to make a lasting first (second and third) impression. We're the friendly front line, meeting face-to-face with customers and helping however we can. If that sounds like your cup of tea, we'll make you one.

Your history is history

We don't have a mould you need to fit. We need interesting people who are interested in people. That's it. You'll be equally at ease assisting a customer with a banking transaction as you are at promoting one of our brilliant products. Whether you're discussing a quote or hosting a community event in one of our meeting rooms, you'll meet every customer and have a brilliant conversation the minute they walk through the door. If you're hungry to learn, keen to develop and up for a challenge, we're eager to hear from you. Whatever your history.

Willing and sociable

We're looking for naturally confident communicators with a helpful way about them. Virgin service isn't about false smiles and fake apologies. Here, we're sincere. There's virtue in what we do and not everyone can do it. If you're well versed in the art of conversation, in any and all situations, you sound ideal.

The buzz of banking

No two days are the same. You could be helping a customer with a banking transaction, promoting one of our products, talking through a quote or answering a tricky question. It's a well-regulated, dynamic and ever-changing environment. This means we take the time to train you to do a brilliant job from the start, with ongoing coaching and development as you progress.

Our lounges are designed exclusively as places for our customers and their guests to relax and unwind. There really is nothing like them on the high street. Working as a Lounge Host means that you get to flex your hospitality muscles while working in a haven on the high street.

We're not after robots. We're after individuals. Interesting people who are interested in people. And to get them, we're happy to be a bit flexible. As long as we can cover the hours we're open (including some Saturdays), we're open to discussion about the hours you work. If you're marvellous (which you are).

You'll be working 37.5 hours a week, between Monday and Sunday on a 6 week rota.

Contract: 12 Month FTC
