Our client has an exciting opportunity for someone with previous management experience, or someone looking to move into management, to take the next steps in their career.

They are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager to join the team at their Haringey Substance Misuse and Offenders service. The service consist of one 24 hour project and 5 semi-independent houses in Haringey and 2 semi-independent houses in Barnet.

In this vital role you will support the Service Manager in ensuring the smooth daily running of the service and deputise in their absence for all matters relating to the management of the service. This will involve taking a lead on client support, health and safety responsibilities, rota management, line management of staff, and building relationships with external partners.

To succeed, you will have experience of staff management or demonstrable ability to supervise, motivate and lead staff through periods of change. You will also have experience of working with vulnerable homeless or disadvantaged people and people living with complex needs. In addition you will have a sound understanding of the issues facing people who are experience problems with drug and alcohol use as well as a good knowledge of the range of support and treatment options available.
