Business Development Manager - Cheshire
Salary: 25,000 pa

The company:
Our client is one of the Worlds leading suppliers within the sports industry. Specialising in the supply of services and equipment.
The Role
Over the last 10 years the company has supplied hundreds of leisure facilities and swimming clubs with products such as start blocks, lane ropes, pace clocks, pool lifts, timing systems and more. Due to the continued growth the business are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to deliver their ambitious growth.
Responsibilities Include:
*Effectively grow and develop the Leisure brand, selling swimming timing systems, LED video displays and leisure equipment + fixtures to swimming clubs and leisure facilities.
*Building relationships with architects and contractors to be the preferred supplier of aquatic products and service.
*Achievement of monthly and quarterly annual sales targets.
*Present new and existing products to secure purchase order targets.
*Identify new customer targets and tender opportunities.
*Delivering product and merchandising training.
*Attend client meetings and pre-contract meetings.
*Develop existing clients business through effective account management
*Upsell Leisure product ranges
*Product demonstrations to potential clients at their show sites.
*Delivering projects on time and on budget.
Skills + Experience Required:
*Minimum 2 years sales experience.
*Preferably has sales experience across the sports and fitness industry.
*High quality negotiation skills and with strong financial acumen.
*A door opener with a can-do attitude.
*Prepared to work hard with a 360-degree view of the future.
*They will see themselves as a salesperson and will really enjoy selling projects through to completion.
*They must be confident and persuasive in nature, but above all be capable of delivering customer requirements in an organised and efficient manner.
*Has strong attention to detail.
