This Global Manufacturing Giant based in Swindon is looking for a Direct Buyer to join their best in class procurement team.

The role will be working closely with the industry leading Category Managers and Procurement Directors, alongside a structured learning and development scheme tailored to suit the individual need.

These points combined ensure that you will be given every opportunity possible in order to succeed and progress to more senior positions within the business.

The Direct Buyer will be responsible for:

• Managing the full end to end procurement process of a large portfolio of spend

• Working closely with suppliers, post contract to ensure that they are meeting necessary deadlines as this is crucial to production

• Engaging with a range of stakeholders from junior to senior level, both externally and internally

The Direct Buyer will need to have:

• Procurement experience

• Strong communication skills

• An organised and forward thinking outlook
