Our client is looking to recruit a Receptionist / Management Services Administrator to be based in Bloomsbury Central London on a full time, 6 month Fixed-term contract (with the potential to become permanent.)  Salary up to 25K.

 


The Receptionist / Management Services Administrator Role:


 
  • Working closely with the Senior Management Services Executive, the post holder will provide reception and facilities support.
  • You will ensure the smooth running of the reception function, answer incoming switchboard calls, meet and greet visitors, deal with deliveries (and post), visitor badges and other services.
  • The Receptionist will efficiently handle meeting room bookings, as well as set up of meeting rooms and arrange catering for internal and external meetings and events.
  • The post holder is also responsible for “Open up / lock up” of the office each morning/evening.

  • The Receptionist will support with administrative duties as required, including providing a photocopying / binding / laminating service, organising deliveries to and from the storage site and keeping the despatch room tidy whilst monitoring stationery stock and ordering supplies.
 


The successful Receptionist / Management Services Administrator must have (Essentials):

 
  • Experience of working within a customer service or reception environment
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of the demands, service standards and day to day operations of a Reception and/or similar venue or hospitality environment.
    • An excellent telephone manner with great interpersonal skills
    • Positive and enthusiastic with a commitment to delivering high quality service
  • Strong communication skills with experience of building relationships with individuals at all levels of an organisation
  • Professional and approachable, with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexibly and cope with change.
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated / proactive thinker
  • Ability to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to demonstrate strong administrative skills
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Ability to coordinate multiple events, tasks and responsibilities and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to respond quickly, calmly and professionally to problems.
 


Additional Information


 
  • The responsibilities of the role may require an element of heavy lifting
  • The post holder may be required to have flexibility with their working hours to meet the demands of seminars, dinners or other events which may occasionally take place outside normal working hours (9.30am - 5.30pm).
