Airworthiness Surveyor

Reporting to the Airworthiness Manager, the Airworthiness Surveyor is responsible for carrying out Airworthiness Reviews in support of the Jet2.com fleet. The Airworthiness Surveyor will approve Permits to Fly, attesting conformity with approved flight conditions and make recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures.

In accordance with EASA Regulations Part-M Subpart G M.A.707, M.A.710 and Subpart I M.A.901, M.A.903, M.A.904; To maintain the validity of the Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) for each Jet2.com aircraft, the Airworthiness Surveyor will complete an Airworthiness Review and issuance of an Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC). Working in collaboration with all Engineering teams, for aircraft imported into the European Union, the Airworthiness Surveyor will carry out Airworthiness Reviews and submit a Recommendation to the National Aviation Authority (NAA) for C of A and ARC issuance.

You will have at least 5 years' experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management or Aircraft Maintenance and an EASA Part 66 B1, B2 or C license with Type Rating or relevant engineering degree, demonstrating the qualifications and experience necessary to gain EASA Form 4 acceptance from the UK CAA and subsequent ARC signatory approval. You will have the ability to work methodically to tight timescales, working in a co-operative and flexible manner, whilst maintaining strong working relationships across all business levels. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
