This company has an exciting opportunity for a HR Officer to join their expanding global company working in their Human Resources team. You will assist the HR advisors in providing professional advice and guidance to managers and staff on a range of HR matters. The HR Officer will provide a high level of quality HR advice and support as well as resourcing and processing all new starters to ensure a seamless experience.
You will also provide an efficient and effective administrative service to all staff, undertaking a variety of duties that will include the administration of electronic and manual files, updating the HR system, training & development, policy & procedures and initial involvement in disciplinary and grievance processes including absence and performance management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the businesses recruitment needs by working with managers to determine the appropriate recruitment plan, job descriptions, job evaluation and benchmarking.
- Processing new starters, contracts of employment and arranging staff inductions
- Assisting the administration and process of absence, disciplinary & grievance cases and other HR related topics
- Assist with the maintenance and revision of company policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes
- Support with the training strategy in researching training providers and sources of learning and development.
- Maintain and update Cascade HR System
- Maintain and update Time & Attendance System
- Assist processing payroll
- Assisting the HR Advisors in projects as well as managing their own projects
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent IT skills e. Word, Excel & Powerpoint
- Ability to demonstrate practical experience of dealing with a range of ER issues and generalist HR advice.
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- CIPD L3 Certificate in HR Practice or equivalent
- CIPD L5 Certificate in HR Management is desirable
- Versatile approach with the ability to present confidently
- An excellent communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Organisation and planning skills obtained within an operational HR environment
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy
