Opportunity for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to work on a variety of different projects as part of team and individually. The portfolio of work is diverse and the practice work closely with their client base to deliver a NSI Gold standard certified BAFE SP205 service.
As well as general fire risk assessment, tasks may include;
- Developing fire safety plan mark-ups
- Fire safety advisory work
- Fire safety training
- Fire door, compartmentation and fire stopping surveys
- Construction phase fire risk safety support and assessments
- Healthcare (HTM 05) support/advisory and Authorising Engineer (Fire) support
- Drafting fire safety policy/fire management plans/evacuation procedures
The successful candidate will be supported by some of the best fire safety professionals in the industry with a wide range of expertise across their fire safety engineering and fire safety consultancy teams.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
An experienced fire risk assessor with a proven background in fire safety and involvement and/or recognition with a professional body. The suitable candidate will ideally have a minimum of five years' experience working in a fire risk assessment/fire safety role and have recognised fire safety qualifications.
Good IT skills are required, particularly with regards to Microsoft Word / Outlook and use of iPads. Experience with Excel spreadsheets would also be beneficial.
